The house was built in the mid-1930 s and has a distinct Art- Deco feel to it. It has just been completely restored by the owner with a great deal of sensitivity to this architectural period. This has created a home with great style while at the same time offering all year round comfort and enjoyment. It is elegant, warm and very tastefully furnished and decorated. There are four double bedrooms, two en-suite and one large bathroom. The house is a 1930's style duplex-bungalow overlooking the Camel Estuary. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the other two are upstairs, one of which is en-suite and has a beautiful timber balcony with elevated views across Estuary towards the famous enclave of Rock.

There are two large living rooms off the hall, both with marble fireplaces, dark hardwood floors and beautifully stylish furniture. The kitchen is solid oak with slate worktops and a slate floor leading to an open plan conservatory area. This is every ones favourite room as it looks out over the garden and has a magnificent 150 year old dinning table that seats 10 people. There is also a utility room off the kitchen with laundry washing and drying machines.

There is a large patio to the front of the house which overlooks Padstow harbour and the Estuary. Below the patio is the front garden and street parking. To the rear of the house is a large private garden and two smaller patio's for BBQ and afternoon sunshine. There is private parking for two cars to the rear of the house.

The house is a short and pleasant 5 minute stroll to Padstow Harbour. The owner of No.28 also restored an Art Deco house in the Dordogne,France. www.frenchriversidehouse.com
